The parade theme for this year’s Shawano homecoming parade, sponsored by Shawano Community High School, the city of Shawano, Charter Casting and the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce, is “Out of This World.”
The parade begins at 6 p.m. Sept. 25, with lineup on Elizabeth Street beginning at 5 p.m. Parade participants can be dropped off at Elizabeth and Lincoln streets, and everyone must check-in with a volunteer wearing a yellow vest.
Participants will not be allowed to park on Elizabeth Street before or during the parade. They also can not park in or block the Popp’s Ball Park Cafe or South Forty parking lots.
Entries are currently being accepted for the parade. Categories include Best Business Entry, Best Club/Organization Entry and Best School Entry.
