The Shawano High School class of 1968 recently presented Kurt Krizan, superintendent of Shawano School District, right, with checks totaling more than $5,000 that will be used to equip a media room in the recently upgraded media center at Shawano Community High School. Class representatives Doug Engel, left, and Terry Hilgenberg said the class believed it was important to show their support of the education program and system the Shawano community provided each of the classmates during their tenure at Shawano High School. All past classes and graduates are challenged to do the same.
