As part of its Catholic Schools Week festivities, Sacred Heart Catholic School welcomed parents, grandparents, godparents, and special guests for its annual Lunch With Loved Ones celebration Jan. 29.
Sacred Heart Catholic School wrapped up its 2025-26 Catholic Schools Week celebration Jan. 30 with the beloved Cardinal Games, an afternoon of spirited competition that highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering a family‑centered, faith‑filled community, including this tug-of-war. Students from every grade came together for friendly challenges.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so I decided to try to find a new recipe to celebrate it. There are so many different recipes for Valentine’s Day, from main dishes to desserts, but I ultimately decided to try a thumbprint cookie recipe.
Thumbprint cookies are delicious with a buttery, shortbread-like base, and sweet jam or jelly baked into the center.
