T-Mobile continues to invest in its 5G network with the addition of a new cell site in Oconto Falls on County Road C near County Road E.
The site enhances T-Mobile’s network in the area and brings 5G Extended Range and Ultra Capacity service that provides high capacity, coverage and data speeds. It is in addition to the 37 sites the wireless carrier built in Wisconsin in the third quarter of 2025.
With UScellular now part of T-Mobile, UScellular customers in Oconto Falls will also benefit from this site — among others — and experience the speed and scale of T-Mobile 5G.
Since the companies came together in August, T-Mobile has strengthened network performance and expanded coverage across UScellular’s areas, leading to an enhanced voice and data experience locally and nationwide. In fact, overall network speeds for UScellular customers have increased by an average of 125%, the company claims.
Also, 2,000 UScellular sites nationwide are being integrated into the T-Mobile network.
