The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has announced the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program is entering its 10th anniversary season, continuing its tradition of celebrating and supporting the achievements of young performers across northeast Wisconsin.
This year, the program welcomes a record 35 participating high schools.
“Reaching our 10th anniversary with 35 participating schools, more than doubling the 14 schools that participated in year one, is a powerful reflection of the program’s impact and commitment to arts education in our community,” said Amy Gosz, chief programming officer. “Center Stage not only highlights outstanding musical theater but also helps students build confidence, creativity and connections that last well beyond the stage.”
Launched in 2016, the Center Stage Program has grown into a cornerstone of the center’s education initiatives, providing experiences for students and educators. The 2025–26 season will include a variety of opportunities, from a dance workshop led by local professionals to workshops with touring arts experts. Select students will serve as student ambassadors or audition for the Encore Singers, a featured ensemble that performs at center-hosted and community events throughout the year.
The season will culminate in a Tony Awards-style showcase on May 16, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., when students will gather to celebrate their accomplishments in an evening performance.
