Carey, 53, Marion, was charged Dec. 29 with battery to public officers, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, and misdemeanor charges of possession of THC and resisting or obstructing an officer. Judge Katherine Sloma set a $2,500 signature bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Jan. 13.
• Hunter R. Riden, 34, Mattoon, was charged Jan. 2 with criminal damage to property valued at more than $2,500 as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $500 cash bond. In a separate file, Riden was charged with criminal damage to property valued at more than $2,500 as well as misdemeanor counts of theft of movable property and entry into a locked coin box. Sloma set a $1,000 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing in both cases for Jan. 12.
• Adrian A. Malone, 29, Green Bay, was charged Jan. 2 with three counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. Sloma set a $3,000 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Jan. 9.
