The Knights of Columbus Council 2836 Shawano recently distributed funds to the Shawano Area Food Pantry and Resource Center, Shawano Area Matthew 25 homeless shelter and Safe Haven domestic abuse shelter.
Deputy Grand Knight John Hoffman presented the checks totaling $1,200.
The funds were raised from pancake and porkie breakfasts and the Charlie’s County Market Red Barn projects.
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal insurance organization. The Shawano Council was chartered in 1941.
Joining Hoffman in presenting the checks were Knights David Wilson, Joe Corrao, Robert Sweeney, Paul Mastalir, Roger Anderson, John Whitehouse and Troy Sadler.
