Sacred Heart students’ posters go to national event

Hadlynn Kast

Sacred Heart Catholic School announced students Hadlynn Kast and Katie Fowler‑Doxtator achieved unprecedented success in the Knights of Columbus “Keep Christ in Christmas” Poster Contest, advancing further than any Sacred Heart students before them.

Both young artists earned first place at every level of competition — local, district, diocese and state — before reaching the national/international stage, where their artwork continued to shine.

Kast achieved first runner‑up and received a $100 check.

Sacred Heart also recognized Spencer Springborn for her thoughtful participation and beautiful artwork.

“Hadlynn and Katie have represented our school with exceptional grace, faith and creativity,” said Gary Cumberland, Sacred Heart principal. “Their accomplishments are a testament to their talent and the strength of our faith‑centered community.”
