Sacred Heart Catholic School in Shawano continues its commitment to the spiritual nurturing of each student by celebrating a weekly all-school Mass led by the sixth and seventh grade classes, and their kindergarten Mass buddies.

This special liturgy highlighted the importance of faith, family and gratitude as students took an active role in guiding the school community in prayer and reflection.

Opportunities for students to lead the liturgy strengthen the school community and help them grow spiritually, deepening their relationship with Christ and the community through active participation in worship and welcoming the community into the church.

The Rev. Edward Looney presided over the Mass and offered the homily. He reminded students of the profound love and sacrifice of mothers, encouraging all to show appreciation for their mother’s care and devotion.
