Oconto Falls wins Peshtigo Invitational
The Oconto Falls High School wrestling team won the 45th Peshtigo Wrestling Invitational Saturday in Peshtigo, scoring 264.5 points to top second-place Peshtigo (230).
Evan Konitzer (106), Bryce Ash (120), Nathaniel Trepanier (132), Brett Ash (138), Sam Konitzer (145) and Dewey Krueger (152) all won their brackets for Oconto Falls.
Gillett/Suring (154.5) took third place as a team and had one champion in Garret Kohls (113).
Gillett beat by Peshtigo
The Gillett Secondary School boys basketball team couldn’t slow Marinette & Oconto Conference-leading Peshtigo in a 64-25 loss Friday in Gillett.

Hunter Borchert led Lena (1-10, 0-6 M&O) with 14 points. Nash Haney had seven.
Blake Margis scored 12 points to lead Coleman (1-9, 1-5 M&O).
Suring falls to Wausuakee

Bailey Baudhuin had 14 to lead Southern Door (7-4, 4-2 Packerland).
Lena girls topped by Peshtigo

Melissa Bushmaker scored 15 points and Kayla VanLanen added 13 for Lena (4-6, 3-5 M&O).
Carly Dietrich had a game-high 19 points for Peshtigo (9-1, 7-0 M&O).
