At 5:35 a.m. Jan. 15, a car driven by an Oconto Falls woman and a pickup truck operated by an Oconto Falls man were both southbound on U.S. 41-141 in the town of Abrams. As the woman was changing lanes to pass the truck, she lost control and struck the truck in the rear quarter panel. There was minor damage to both vehicles. At 7:20 a.m. Jan. 17, a female from Oconto was driving a van south on U.S. 41 in the town of Oconto following a vehicle that was slowing to make a right turn onto Erdman Lane. A Marinette man was driving behind the Oconto driver, who had slowed down. Her vehicle skidded left, striking the Marinette man’s vehicle, which was passing hers. Both vehicles entered the median. The van sustained moderate damage, with minor damage reported to the car. At 11:28 a.m. Jan. 18, vehicles driven by a man from Townsend and a man from Green Bay collided on state Highway 32 in the town of Townsend. Both were northbound, and the Townsend driver stopped in traffic to make a left turn into a driveway when his vehicle was struck from the rear. There was severe damage to the Green Bay man’s vehicle, with moderate damage reported to the vehicle driven by the Townsend man. At 6:55 a.m. Jan. 13, an Oconto Falls school bus driven by an Oconto Falls man stopped at the intersection of U.S. 41-141 and the southbound ramp off County Road S in the town of Little Suamico and was turning east. A car driven by a woman from Little Suamico was waiting in traffic attempting to turn onto the county road, and the two collided. The bus driver stated he did not see the car, due to a blind spot on the bus. There was moderate damage to the car, with very minor damage to the bus. No injuries were reported.
