At 1:35 pm. Jan. 16, a pickup truck and a car driven by men from Gillett collided on Michael Circle at County Road HH in the town of Underhill. The driver of the pickup truck was backing from a driveway and didn’t see a car stopped at a mailbox. No injuries were reported. At 9:40 p.m. Jan. 24, a man from De Pere was driving a pickup truck towing a trailer on Nicolet Road in the town of Townsend. He lost control, entered a ditch and struck a tree. Severe damage was reported to the truck, with unknown damage to the trailer. At 2:22 a.m. Jan. 25, a man from Oconto was driving a pickup truck on Makholm Lane east of County Road Z in the town of Maple Valley. He was unable to stop as he approached a dead end, left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck some trees and metal posts. Severe damage was reported to his truck. He was cited for driving while intoxicated. At 7:20 a.m. Jan. 25, a woman from Abrams was driving south on U.S. 141 south of County Road E in the town of Abrams. She lost control of the vehicle, and it entered the median and overturned. She suffered minor injuries. At 11:15 a.m. Jan. 26, a man from Pound was clearing snow with an Oconto County snow plow at the intersection of state Highway 22 at County Road G in the town of Gillett. He backed into a car driven by a woman from Gillett. No damage was reported to the plow, with minor damage to the woman’s vehicle. No injuries resulted. Officers investigated a burglary at a home on South White Potato Lake Road, town of Brazeau, on Jan. 18. The home had been entered through a patio door. A Polaris jacket and a diamond butterfly pin were reported missing. At 2:20 a.m. Jan. 23, a Lakewood man lost control of the pickup truck he was driving on County Road F in the town of Lakewood. The truck traveled down a steep embankment and landed on its roof. No injuries were reported. At 6:35 p.m. Jan. 14, a car driven by a woman from Suamico collided with a bus driven by a man from Wrightstown as both were traveling south on U.S. 141 in the town of Stiles. Each driver stated the other had moved toward the center of the divided highway as the bus was passing the car. Moderate damage was reported to the car, with minor damage to the bus, which was carrying 36 passengers. No injuries were reported by individuals on the bus. The Suamico woman sought her own treatment for a sore neck. At 5:12 p.m. Jan. 16, an Amberg woman was driving south on U.S. 141 in the town of Lena when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered the median and rolled onto its roof. She was not injured. At 6 a.m. Jan. 19, a Peshtigo man was driving his car on the southbound ramp of U.S. 41 at Business 41, town of Little River, when he failed to negotiate the curve. His car left the roadway and overturned. There was severe damage to his vehicle. He was not injured. At 11:48 a.m. Jan 19, a man from Mountain was driving north on Quill Lake Lane, town of Mountain, when his vehicle skidded into a southbound car driven by a man from De Pere. Severe damage was reported to the car driven by the man from Mountain, with moderate damage to the De Pere’s man automobile. At 10:25 a.m. Jan. 29, a man from Oconto Falls was driving a pickup truck west on County Road D at Sandalwood Road, town of Abrams. His vehicle collided with a car driven by a woman from Green Bay who was unable to stop at the stop sign on Sandalwood Road. There was minor damage to the truck, with moderate damage to the car.
