An arraignment was scheduled Sept. 12 for Adam J. Charles, 43, Gillett. He was arrested Aug. 4 in the town of Spruce for driving while intoxicated and with blood alcohol content greater than the legal limit, each seventh, eighth or ninth offense, for obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. His $7,500 cash bond continues.
Jimmy Alvis Loven, 53, Batesville, Ark., pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated, 10th offense, driving with blood alcohol content greater than the legal limit, 10th offense, and disorderly conduct. He was arrested July 14 in the town of Oconto Falls. His pretrial conference is Sept. 27, and a $7,500 cash bond continues.
Proceedings from Aug. 21
Jason C. Smith, 28, Mountain, was sentenced to four years in prison for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense. He must spend two years in confinement and two years on extended supervision. For operating another’s vehicle without consent, a three-year prison sentence was ordered, 18 months of confinement and 18 months of extended supervision, to run concurrently. He must also pay $2,25.70 in fines, $278 court costs, $1,758 restitution and have no alcohol or illegal drugs. His driver’s license is suspended for 36 months, and an ignition interlock was imposed for 36 months. He must undergo mental health assessments and follow through. Dismissed were charges of driving while his license was revoked, disorderly conduct and driving with blood alcohol content greater than the legal limit. Smith was arrested April 20 in the town of Mountain.
Proceedings from Aug. 20
Sentencing is Oct. 7 for Dustin M. Lindholm, 17, Oconto Falls. He entered a no contest plea to theft, which took place May 17 in the town of Morgan. A $10,000 cash bond continues.
Randall J. Gazella, 53, Sobieski, made an initial appearance on charges of strangulation and suffocation, disorderly conduct and battery. He was arrested Aug. 20 in the town of Little Suamico. His bond was set at $500 cash.
Sentencing was held for Timur A. Fursov, 18, Little Suamico. He was found guilty of being party to theft, which occurred Jan. 25 in the town of Little Suamico and was ordered to spend three months in jail with work release privileges. He was also placed on probation three years and ordered to pay joint and several restitution of $3,454.10, $278 court costs, $250 DNA surcharge, serve 50 hours of community service and have no contact with the co-defendant or victim. He must write a letter of apology, complete a GED, maintain full-time employment unless enrolled in school, then find part-time work, and receive any recommended treatment.
Proceedings from Aug. 19
An arraignment is Aug. 30 for Sarah M. Cadieux, 27, De Pere. She is accused of being party to burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, party to theft, party to burglary and two counts of being party to misdemeanor theft, which allegedly took place May 30 in the town of Little Suamico. Her $2,500 cash bond continues.
Gregory S. Vandenack, 34, Plymouth, made an initial appearance on charges of being party to burglary, party to misdemeanor theft, which allegedly occurred May 26 to 28, 2012, in the town of Little Suamico; party to burglary and misdemeanor theft, which allegedly occurred June 9, 2012, in the town of Little Suamico; party to burglary and party to causing criminal damage to property, which allegedly occurred June 9, 2012, in the town of Stiles; and party to burglary and party to causing criminal damage to property, which allegedly occurred June 22, 2012, in the town of Lakewood. His preliminary hearing is Sept. 20, and a $2,500 cash bond was set.
