Susan “Susie” Richter, of Wittenberg, died peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at Rosemary Manor of Mattoon under the care of their wonderful staff. She was 77 years old. She was born on Jan. 26, 1942, in the town of Franzen, a daughter of the late Daniel and Genevieve Garski. She married Richard Richter on Nov. 10, 1962, in Rosholt. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 2015. Susan and her husband farmed for many years.

Adrianna Kots, 93, of Birnamwood, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at the Homme Home of Wittenberg. She was born on Jan. 15, 1926, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of the late Teunis and Elizabeth (Akkerhuis) Visser. On Jan. 15, 1948, she married George Kots in Laverne, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1988. Adrianna’s first love was serving her Lord. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Lori A. Ostrowski, 50, of Wittenberg, died on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Lori was born in Antigo, the daughter of the late Frank and Joan (DeBroux) Hable. On April 20, 1996, Lori was united in marriage to Duane Ostrowski in Wausau. He survives. Lori was a 1986 graduate of Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School.

Roy Robert Ziemer, 79, Suamico, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017. He was born on Oct. 17, 1937, in Shawano, the son of the late Fred and Lulubell (Marohl) Ziemer. After graduation from Shawano High School, Roy enlisted in the U.S. Army. He spent three years on active duty, two of which were spent in Okinawa, Japan, and was honorably discharged.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, the Lord called Doris Mae Kroenke to his eternal home at the age of 91. Doris was born in Clintonville on Nov. 9, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Emma (Schauder) Schmidt. She was baptized in June 1926 at her parents’ summer cottage.
