LeRoy O. Marohl, 85, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Shawano. He was born on Oct. 19, 1928, to the late Herman and Rosetta (Rueckert) Marohl in Cecil.
On Jan. 26, 1957, LeRoy was united in marriage to Darlene Montoure. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Marohl, of Shawano; his children, LeRoy (Shelley) Marohl, Shawano, Deborah (Mark) Vandenberg, Appleton, and Brian (Renee) Marohl, Shawano; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila (Neil) Montour; two brothers, Jim (Mary) Marohl and Steve (Deb) Marohl, all of Shawano; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rosetta Marohl.
On Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, a private visitation and funeral service for immediate family only will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with private family service at 11 a.m. at Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil with the Rev. Mark Palmer officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul Church Cemetery in Bonduel.
