Sugar I. Zimmerman

Sugar I. Zimmerman, 68, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Green Bay. Born on Aug. 26, 1945, in Morgan, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gretta (Tousey) Jacobs. Sugar worked as a CNA. Her caring personality would shine through to all of those around her, especially on her children and beloved grandchildren. She had a quick wit and a good sense of humor and believed everything happened for a reason, whether good or bad. She loved to cook and bake, especially during the Christmas holiday. She also enjoyed trying new things, going for a drive, and cutting hair for her family and friends. Sugar had a love for animals, especially her cats and dog. On Sept. 13, 2013, she was united in marriage to Eric Zimmerman in Michigan. Sugar is survived by her husband, Eric; her five children, Darrin (Terri) Church, of Shawano, Danny Church, of Oklahoma, Deanna (John) DeNasha, of Bowler, D “Midget” Church, of Chicago, Derrik “Littleman” Church, of Green Bay; numerous grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; her mother, Gretta Jacobs, of Bowler; and six siblings, Clyde (Betsy) Jacobs, of Minnesota, Rosella Schaff, of Bowler, Neil (Claudia) Jacobs, of Shawano, Nelda Jacobs, of Bowler, Euretta “Buzzi” Rollins, of Bowler, and Gerold “Bear” (Vicki) Jacobs, of Amery.
