At 11:41 a.m. Feb. 5, a woman from Oconto Falls was delivering mail on County Road K, 50 feet north of state Highway 22 in the town of Oconto Falls. She was stopped at a mailbox and had an amber light operating on top of her vehicle. An Oconto Falls man driving a northbound vehicle stated he was distracted by another vehicle at the intersection and struck the rear of the woman’s car. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
At 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7, a man from Peshtigo was driving his vehicle west on County Road A in the village of Lena when it crossed the center line and entered a ditch. Severe front-end damage was reported to his vehicle. No injuries resulted to the driver or four passengers.
At 5:16 p.m. Jan. 30, a vehicle driven by a woman from Coleman was southbound on U.S. 141 about to exit onto County Road A in the town of Lena when it was struck by a southbound car driven by a Lena man who had moved into the left lane. His vehicle was struck by a car driven by a Peshtigo man who was also southbound. Moderate damage was reported to all vehicles. No injuries resulted.
At 3:40 p.m. Feb. 3, a hit-and-run accident took place on U.S. 141 at County Road E in the town of Abrams as a unidentified driver drove from the county road to enter the divided highway and pulled in front of a northbound car driven by a Lena man. The Lena man’s auto sustained front end damage. The driver was not injured.
At 11:15 a.m. Feb. 3, a woman from Green Bay was driving her car north on Elm Lane Road in the town of Morgan. As she entered a curve on the roadway, her vehicle slid on ice and collided with the side of an oncoming auto driven by a woman from Oconto Falls. Moderate damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
