Fire prevention everyone’s responsibility

Contributed

Richard Bosanko, retired Kenosha Fire Department battalion chief, posted these fire prevention signs in his yard where he now lives in Wittenberg. Bosanko said everyone should have working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors on each level of their residence, as well as change the batteries when adjusting clocks. In addition, everyone one in the family should know where their alternate exits are in the home and have a family meeting place outside should a fire occur.
