A Wittenberg woman is among the 10 finalists for the next Packers FAN Hall of Fame induction.
Lorraine Mueller, who died Dec. 27, 2025, at age 102, was nominated by her family.
The Green Bay Packers are the only NFL franchise that is owned by individuals. Back in 1998, officials decided to honor that distinction by establishing the Packers FAN Hall of Fame whose sole purpose is to celebrate those who truly love the Packers.
After all the nominations are received, a selection committee narrows the submissions to 10. This year, the finalists are from Wisconsin, Illinois, California and North Carolina.
Mueller turned 102 on Sep. 4, 2025, and the Packers organization sent her a package with a hat, blanket and an autographed football.
Prior to her stroke nine years ago, she had attended several games, and Packers game day was always a highlight of her week. Like many avid fans, she wore green and gold attire.
Her specialty was making her own jewelry. Having moved to Homme Home, an assisted living facility, after her stroke, she spent her time making Packers jewelry for others. It’s estimated that she had made more than 3,000 necklaces, bracelets, leaves and gnomes.

The winner will be announced in February, and their name will be added to the FAN Hall of Fame list. John Breske, Elderon, received the honor in 2022.
