Reported attendance levels at the 2025 NFL draft in Green Bay surpasses expectations

Bringing the NFL draft to the league’s smallest market was supposed to mean a smaller crowd. Green Bay Packers fans had other ideas. Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy said several days before the draft that the forecast was for a total attendance of 250,000 for all three days.

Full NFL schedule to be announced May 14
The wait is almost over. The 2025 NFL draft is complete, and the full 2025 schedule will be announced at 7 p.m. May 14. The dates will be set, primetime matchups will be known, and every game will be revealed on the NFL Network airwaves. The 2025 NFL season is scheduled to begin Sept. 4 with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the NFL Kickoff Game. The regular season concludes Jan. 4, 2026, and the playoffs are scheduled to start Jan.

Will draft help Packers fill positions of need?
The Green Bay Packers entered the offseason with some big perceived positions of need. As free agency progressed, some big names were thought to be available either as free agents or on the trade market. As it turns out, no trade was swung for DK Metcalf.
