The NFL season is underway, which means you’ve likely started your fantasy football season as well.

Fantasy football is a unique game that allows anyone to play the role of general manager.

It has become immensely popular over the years and even had a TV show based around it with FX creating “The League.” The show lasted over five seasons, and it gave you a glimpse as to what a league can look like.

And we’re off and running.

The Green Bay Packers open their season by hosting the Detroit Lions in Week 1, and just four days later, they will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 2.

There’s no time to dwell on the previous game, the Packers will play on Thursday Night Football against a team that played for the conference championship a season ago.

Packers 6-pack: Thursday game for Week 2

The Green Bay Packers and Washington Commanders will face off at Lambeau Field on Sept. 11, with Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstret on the call with Amazon Prime carrying the game.

This will be the second of two big games to start the season for the Packers. After opening against Detroit, Washington was the team that knocked the Lions out of the playoffs last year to play in the NFC Championship game.
