The Eagles played a slow and stead first half, eventually overtaking Wabeno/Laona halfway through en route to a solid 51-31 win at a tournament in Edgar.
By halftime, Menominee Nation led the Rebels 23-18 and then overpowered them in the second half 28-13.
Marion/Tigerton 64, Montello 35
The Thundercatz ended their play at a tournament in Tomahawk with a 64-35 win over Montello.
Marion/Tigerton improved to 5-2, while the Hilltoppers dropped to 1-6.
Shawano 62, Menasha 37
The Hawks improved to 7-3 win a 62-37 win over Menasha at the Shawano Hoops Holiday Classic at the Kress Center at UW-Green Bay.
The Hawks got out to a strong start behind Jayden Brown’s hot shooting and never looked back.
Lena 44, Sevastopol 17
Lena held a respectable 17-8 halftime advantage over Sevastopol at the Shawano Hoops Holiday Classic at UW-Green Bay but blew the game open with a 27-9 second half as the Wildcats beat the Pioneers 44-17.
Senior Madilyn Thomson led Lena with 11 points, while freshman Ella Thomson scored 10. Each also led the team with 10 rebounds and four steals each.
Laila Collar and Madilyn Thomson each had three assists.
