Teah Benser

Teah Rae Benser, 44, of Pound, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at an area hospital with her family by her side. She was born June 30, 1980, in Green Bay to Rick and Gail (Tappa) Benser. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School, class of 1998. Teah always had a love for children and would light up around them. Because of this, she enjoyed teaching pre-kindergarten and thrived in her position as director of Kinder Care in De Pere. In her free time, Teah enjoyed scrapbooking, chatting with friends and spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. In her early 20s, Teah was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, Alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) deficiency. This affected her liver and lungs, making it hard for her to breath and causing her a lot of pain. Despite these challenges, Teah was always willing to serve and help others. She truly was an angel with a heart of gold. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Survivors are her parents, Rick and Gail; siblings, Greg (Heather) Block, Jessica (Eugene) Beaumia, Rebecca Benser, Jeremy Block, Nickolas (Jaelyn) Benser; nieces and nephews, Kassidy, Bryanna, Quinn, Brandon, Collin, Trenton, Makayla, Jazymne, Chloe, Jaeda, Nevaeh and Brielle; and five great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two brothers, Derek and Liam. Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at Jones Funeral Service until 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Father Walter Stumpf officiating. Burial will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery in Oconto Falls.
