Randy Mark Lemmens, 63, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 25, 2022, in Chugiak, Alaska, after a battle with cancer. Randy was born in Clintonville on Dec. 24, 1958. He was raised in Shawano by his parents Peppen and Agnes (nee Polar), alongside nine siblings.
Randy was a longtime Alaskan and beloved shopkeeper of the Rural Discount Center in Chugiak. His lifetime love of the great outdoors included enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, shooting, knife and axe throwing. His passion was spending time with his wife, Karen, and many pets over the years.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Lemmens; two stepdaughters, Brianna (Ben) and Abby Hammes; his mother, Agnes; siblings Phil Lemmens (Bonnie), Ken and Karl Lemmens, Gloria Steinburg (Dick), Laurie Rehman (Bill), Ramona Richter (Duane), Kathleen Kreutzer (Don), Peggy LeBre (Charles), Tim Lemmens (JoyDawn); and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Peppen.
