Emma Burish

Emma Burish, 84, Shawano, passed away Jan. 25, 2021, at home to be with the Lord. Emma was born July 20, 1936, in the Town of Spruce, Oconto County, to the late Jacob and Anna (Tienor) Burish. She attended grade school in the Town of Spruce and graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1954. Emma moved to the Manitowoc area and worked as an office assistant for Mirro/Newell Aluminum until her retirement.

Trisha Magnin-Stolpa
Trisha Magnin-Stolpa, 33, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Feb. 3, 2021, following a decade-long battle with alcohol addiction. She died in the arms of her loving husband, Jason Stolpa, in the midst of a fiercely fought battle toward recovery. Trisha “possessed a unique soul” and was known for her insurmountable love toward people and animals alike.

Ila Mae Gipp
On Jan. 16, 2021, Ila Mae Gipp joined the angels in heaven after 80 years of love, laughter and making so many memories with the ones she loved. She was born Aug. 18, 1940, in the Town of Cicero to the late Oscar and Meta (Madison) Gagnow. After completing her general education in Seymour, she attended and received her degree from Wisconsin College of Cosmetology. Ila Mae was employed as a beautician at Spurgeon’s Department Store in Shawano.
Mary A. Friedrich
Mary Ann Friedrich, 83, of Clintonville, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 24, 2021, at Cherry Meadows in Appleton after a long battle with diabetes and health-related complications. Mary was born on May 18, 1937, in Oshkosh, as the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Benedict) Hunt. She grew up in the Oshkosh area and was united in marriage to Norman W. Friedrich Sr. of Clintonville on Nov. 10, 1956, in Winneconne.
John P. Williquette Sr.
John Peter Williquette Sr. from Oconto, born April 1, 1948, passed away on Jan. 22, 2021, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was previously married to Dixie Williquette.
