Victor D. Vigue Sr.

Victor D. Vigue Sr., 79, of Tisch Mills, died peacefully Sunday morning, Oct. 24, 2021, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay with family by his side. Victor was born in Keshena on July 31, 1942, and was a 1961 graduate of Shawano High School.

Adlai Estes, 17, of Baraboo, walked on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021. Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at the Sanford WhiteEagle American Legion Post 556, E11046 Reedsburg Road, Baraboo. Burial was at the John Stacy Memorial Cemetery in Wittenberg. Adlai was born on May 7, 2004, in Red Wing, Minnesota, the son of Lacy Bigjohn Estes. He was a senior at Baraboo High School.
LeRoy D. Hoernke
LeRoy D. Hoernke, 77, of the Town of Matteson, passed away Oct. 27, 2021, at his home. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting the family.
Otis A. Mehlberg Sr.
Otis A. Mehlberg Sr., of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, peacefully at home. He was born in Shawano on June 8, 1928, to the late William R. and Amanda (Kobskie) Mehlberg. Otis grew up in Shawano, living above the Mehlberg Bakery and helping his family with the day-to-day operations. He graduated from Shawano High School where he excelled in multiple sports.
Marguerite H. Western
Marguerite H. Western, 90, of Mequon, formerly of Kelly Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. She was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Chicago to the late Matthew “Harry” and Marguerite (Tricola) Taylor. Marguerite was united in marriage to Leithen Western on Aug.
Arnold W. Block
Arnold W. Block died peacefully on Oct. 27, 2021, at The Bay at Suring nursing home, Suring, with family by his side. Arnold was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Spruce to the late Wilhelm and Orgena (Zarling) Block. On Oct. 28, 1945, he married Joyce Olderman at St. John’s Catholic Church, Gillett. Arnold worked at Warvel Products for many years. His passions were fishing, eating, camping and woodworking.
Alyce L. Ankerson
Alyce L. Ankerson, 101, Gillett, died Sunday morning, Oct. 31, 2021, at St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. She was born March 27, 1920, in rural Oconto Falls to Anton and Astrid (Nelson) Anderson. As a young lady, she moved to San Diego with her two brothers, Arnold and Merlin “Chet” Anderson, to work at Consolidated AirCraft assembling airplanes for the war effort. On Sept. 30, 1950, she married Robert M. Ankerson in Oconto.
