Eileen E. Schmidt, 77, of Neenah, died unexpectedly with her family by her side, and moved into her heavenly home on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Eileen was born on July 7, 1944 in Birnamwood, daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel (Tullberg) Johnson, and the youngest of five sisters. She was baptized on Sept. 1, 1944 and confirmed on May 17, 1959. Eileen married her high school sweetheart, Don Schmidt, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wittenberg on Dec.

Roger Barr, Shawano, 73, passed away Monday, June 27, in Langlade County, while doing one of the activities he loved — trout fishing. Roger was born in Lancaster on Nov. 25, 1948 to the late William and Jeanette (Moran) Barr. He attended Lancaster High School. Roger served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971. He was on the flight crew of hurricane hunters in Florida, but his main focus was airplane mechanics.

Jeanette A. Lambrecht, 89, of Gillett, passed away on Sunday evening, June 26, 2022 at Meadowbrook in Oconto Falls. She was born on June 6, 1932, daughter of the late Ervin and Arlene (Moede) Brusewitz. She was a graduate of Bonduel High School with the class of 1952. Jeanette was employed at Northern Shoe Company and later at Gillett Elementary School serving hot lunch in the cafeteria. In May of 1967 she married Wilbur Koeppen.

John Edward Schultz Sr., 81, Town of Wescott, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Appleton. He was born July 2, 1940, to the late Clarence and Mabel (Duell) Schultz in Underhill. On Sept. 30, 1961, John was united in marriage to Carol J. Kuhn in Pulcifer. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic for Schneider National Transport.

Bernice M. Yanke, 91, of Shawano, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Bernice was born Feb. 27, 1931, to the late Christian and Minnie (Tuschy) Zaddack. She was baptized on March 29, 1931, at St. John Lutheran Church in Hayes, and she was confirmed on May 14, 1944. Bernice married Irwin Yanke on July 8, 1950, at St. John Lutheran Church in Hayes. The couple spent most of their married life farming in Hayes, Gillett and Underhill.
