Shawano resident Terri Dallas, vice president of information and public relations for Cooperative Resources International, was honored as the 2014 Wisconsin Distinguished Agriculturalist by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at an awards banquet April 24. Dallas has been with CRI for 28 years and in her current role for the past 11 years.

Dorothy S. Timm-Ringel, 94, formerly of the town of Herman, Shawano County, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, May 9, 2014, at Evergreen Care Center in Shawano. Dorothy had been a resident at Evergreen for the past 16 days. The former Dorothy Huebner was born on Nov. 1, 1919, in the town of Herman, a daughter of the late Albert and Elsa (Salzmann) Huebner.
