The proposed new Shawano County employee handbook could be eliminating some of extra pay workers negotiated in union contracts. Maintenance Director Steve Dreher brought the issue of on-call pay to the Public Property Committee’s attention Friday.

A crossing guard eliminated from the city’s budget as of the new school year has become a hot topic on local Facebook pages and will be discussed Monday by the city’s Finance Committee.
