Oconto Falls Invitational
Oconto Falls girls earned 101 points and finished second among 15 teams it their home invite. The boys tallied 72 points and placed fifth among 14 teams.
Bonduel’s girls were third with 80 points, with Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy scoring 29 points and placing eighth.
The boys from Bonduel had 75 points and placed fourth, while Lena/STAA had 42 points and placed ninth.
The Panthers’ Mackenzie Lotto was best in the 300-meter hurdles at 53.59, and Brooke Fenlon won the long jump at 15-05.
Bonduel’s Peyton Westrich won the 400-meter dash in 1:01.80.
The foursome of Mariah Wondra, Lillian Burrack, Amelia Wilcox and Payten Bierhals was fastest in the 4x800-meter relay in 10:36.06.
The best finish for Lena/STAA came from the 4x200 and 4x400 teams, each taking third. Kaitlyn Borkovec, Hailee Collar, Brynn Heise and Hayden McNurlen rand the 4x200, and Alisa Finger, Kate Peters, Heise and Abby Kostreva ran the 4x400.
For the boys, Oconto Falls was led by the 4x400 team of Brady Bursa, Gage Shallow, Nathaniel White and Croix Gardebrecht in 3:48.67. Bursa also won the long jump at 21-04.
Bonduel’s Gage Anderson won the 800-meter run in 2:12.22. The 4x800 team of Garrett Anderson, Gage Anderson, Joah Dworniczak and Oliver Chitwood won in 8:58.28.
For Lena/STAA, there were a couple of second-place finishes.
Zander Thomson was runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles and the long jump. The foursome of Lucas Heimke, Max Peterson, Erik Kosch and Thomson placed second in the 4x400.
TC Invite
With 89 points, Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls placed second among 11 teams at Tri-County High School in Plainfield. Marion/Tigerton was seventh with 46.5 points.
For the boys, Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished fourth among 12 teams with 69 points. Marion/Tigerton earned 35 points and placed ninth.
Taking first for the Wittenberg-Birnamwood girls were Harper Rogwoski in the 800-meter run in 2:34.50; Harper Krull in the 300-meter hurdles in 52.06; the team of Deajiah Cornelius, Krull, Rogwoski and Eleanor Tassler in the 4x400 in 4:41.18; and Krull in the long jump at 15-08.
Marion/Tigerton’s best finish was from Presley Stewart-Rolf, who placed second in the discus.
Winning for the Wittenberg-Birnamwood boys was Aydrean McGeshick in the 200-meter dash in 23.89 and in the 400-meter dash in 54.55,
Marion/Tigerton boys had their best finish from Caleb Stern, who was second in the 200-meter dash.
