CWC Mega-Meet 2
A pair of golfers each from Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Menominee Nation/Gresham scored in the top 12 at Shamrock Heights Golf Course in New London.
For the Chargers, Roman Johnson had 80, and George Seegmiller had 82. For the Eagles, Gabe Boivin scored 83, and Elliott Penass had 86.
“It was a very cold day, but I was very pleased with how Roman and George played,” Chargers coach Chris Bartletti said. “For the second meet in a row, Roman scored his lowest round as a varsity player, and George rebounded from a poor performance to take 10th overall. As a team we could benefit from a couple other decent scores, but we didn’t lose ground.”
