Lena girls lose first game of the season

Lena suffered its first loss of the season, a 49-35 loss at home.

Crivitz held a slim 20-18 lead at halftime and extended it with a 29-17 second half.

Ella Thomson led the Wildcats with 11 points, followed by Madilyn Thomson with eight and Abby Kostreva with six.

Alisa Finger and Ella Thomson each had 11 rebounds, with Kaitlyn Borkovec adding seven.

Ella Thomson also three blocks and two steals. Finger had a block and three steals, and Borkovec had one steal.

Laila Collar led Lena with five assists. Madilyn Thomson contributed three, and Finger had one.

Bonduel 51, Amherst 19

The seventh-ranked Bears easily defeated Amherst 51-19 in a CWC-East game. Bonduel is 6-0 in league play, while Amherst is 2-5.

Audrey Jacobs led Bonduel with 10 points, with Juliana Jacobs scoring nine and Casey Wesenberg credited with six.

Juliana Jacobs led the team with six rebounds, and added a steal. Mariah Wondra had five rebounds, and Audrey Jacobs had three rebounds and four steals.

Cierra Schnell led Bonduel with four assists, with Emery Thompson having three and Marlie Hartmann getting one.
