The Bay Area Ice Bears won their eighth game of the season on a fifth consecutive shutout with a 4-0 win over the Fond du Lac Warbirds.
Bay Area has outscored its opponents 30-0 in those five shutouts and 45-3 overall this season.
After a scoreless first period, the Ice Bears erupted for three goals in the first 3:34 of the second period.
Hannah Von Haden scored at 43 seconds with help from Lily Lyons and Faye Brunke. Madeline Engles scored at 2:15 with assists by Jordyn Clarke and Addison Dahl. The barrage ended when Brunke scored at 3:34 with Dahl assisting.
Near the end of the third period, Von Haden scored her second goal with a Lyons assist to make it 4-0.
Reese Spiering had 12 saves on shots on goal for Bay Area. Fond du Lac’s Kennedy Kohlman faced 36 shots on goal and made 32 saves.
As for penalties, Bay Area had two for four minutes, and Fond du Lac had three for six minutes.
