Carl L. Loving, 84, of Cecil, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, in Appleton. Carl was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Springfield, Illinois, to the late James and Marian (Allen) Loving. Carl enlisted in the United States National Guard and later served in the United States Air Force. Carl was united in marriage to Patricia Turban on July 17, 1957, in Illinois. The couple originally lived in Milwaukee before moving to Elcho and, most recently, Cecil. Carl enjoyed tooling leather and bowling. He was also an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Sharon (Michael) Mach, of Antigo, Connie (special friend Phillip Teffs) Loving, of Antigo, Mark Loving, of Racine, and Dale Loving, of Elcho; grandchildren, David (Olivia) Mach, Stefanie Mach and Katie (Steph Jacobs) Mach; great-grandchildren, Emily Schafer, Myla Schafer, Kellan Mach, Declan Mach and Elias Mach; siblings, Wayne (Donna) Loving, of Montana, and Mary (William) Tunnicliff, of Wyoming; and special friends, Hugo and Lu Petters and David and Marie Langkamp.
Carl is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marian; and one brother, Jim Loving.
A memorial service is being planned for Carl in the spring.
