Bruce G. Radeske, 74, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Bruce was born on Aug. 13, 1946, to the late Frank and Delores Radeske.
On Sept. 18, 1971, he married JoAnn Peters at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. They were blessed with two daughters, sons-in-law, and four precious grandchildren.
As a licensed cheesemaker, Bruce’s career included working at cheese plants and factories, as well as the United States Department of Agriculture inspecting cheese and dairy.
He spent many years at Shawano Lake first at the cottage and then by moving there 20 years ago in the home he and JoAnn had built.
Bruce is survived by his wife, JoAnn, two daughters, Robyn (John) Hoewisch, Weyauwega, and Rochelle (Neal) Westemeier, Marion; four grandchildren, Olivia and Brooke Westemeier, and Isaac and Hannah Hoewisch; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Dan Bergsbaken, Rhinelander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Delores Radeske; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arvin and Lucille Peters; and an infant sister-in-law, Donna Peters.
Private family services will be held through Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.
