Charles E. “Charlie” Hull, 83, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, 2021, at Oak Haven Assisted Living in Shawano, where he had resided for the past nine days.
Charlie was born June 21, 1938, in Shawano, a son of the late Lloyd and Agnes (Zueske) Hull. He attended Shawano schools before entering the U.S. Army. Charlie faithfully served his country from 1955 until 1958, spending two of those years in Germany. When he returned from service, he went to work at Gehrke and Montour Heating and Roofing.
On Jan. 22, 1966, Charlie was united in marriage to the former Judy Salzman at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. He then worked at Badger Sheet Metal in Green Bay. In 1992, he went to work at Tweet Garot Mechanical in Green Bay until retiring in 1999. Charlie is a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing and caring for his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Judy, of Shawano; his daughter, Lynn Hull, of Shawano; and his devoted dog, Max.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Hull, and his sister, Penny Nett.
Service arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date.
