Several Shawano County Board supervisors have completed the necessary paperwork to seek reelection in the April 7 general election.
County Clerk Raymond Rigsby said District 11 Supervisor James Przybylski, District 12 Supervisor Kathy Luebke and District 17 Supervisor Allan Kuhn were among the first incumbents to turn in validated nomination packets.
Also turning in nomination paperwork were District 8 Martin Elmer, District 20 Rick Giese, District 26 Thomas Kautza, District 21 Joe Miller and District 23 Steven Natzke.
Heather Pahl, recently appointed to complete a vacancy in District 2, has filed a declaration of non-candidacy. However, Collin Pomplin has filed paperwork to seek that post.
Lowel Hammett, of District 16, and Curtis Naja, of District 5, have also filed non-candidacy paperwork.
Nomination paperwork is due to Rigsby’s office by 5 p.m. Jan. 6.
If an incumbent does not file a notification of non-candidacy by 5 p.m. Dec. 26 and does not seek reelection, the deadline for filing nomination papers will be extended to 5 p.m. Jan. 9.
If a primary is necessary, it will be held Feb. 17.
