ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano, 100 County Road B, Shawano, will host a Labor of Love Open House for expecting mothers from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 8.
The open house offers a chance to see the rooms and meet the team that will care for mothers and newborns.
The event will include:
• Breastfeeding support: Professional guidance and local lactation resources, as well as information on how to obtain a breast pump.
• Diaper banks: Essential material support for newborns.
• Local Daycares: Information on trusted, local childhood care centers.
• Therapy services: Specialized physical and emotional postpartum care.
• Tribal services: Culturally specific healthcare resources and community connections.
Mommy mocktails and snacks will be provided. There will be a limited supply of giveaways, raffles and goodie bags.
