Christopher Maynard Koehler, 44, of Shawano, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. Born on Oct. 21, 1969, in Shawano, he was the son of Maynard Koehler and Marcia (Michael) Reinicke.
Chris lived most of his life in the Shawano area. For the past five years, he worked at Nueske Meats in Wittenberg. When not at work, Chris enjoyed spending time with his family as well as hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Christopher is survived by his fiancée, Jackeline; his father, Maynard, of Shawano; his mother, Marcia (Michael) Reinicke, of Wittenberg; his sister, Kim (Gene Rades) Koehler, of Shawano; two nephews, Andrew (Juliet) Krause, of Shawano, Zachary Krause, of Wittenberg; and three great-nieces and great-nephews.
Christopher was preceded in death by a sister, Tracy Krause.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Shawano on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
