Wittenberg-Birnamwood 22, Manawa 1
Wittenberg-Birnamwood batters pounded out 16 hits, and Manawa committed six errors as the Chargers crushed the Wolves 22-1.
The Chargers scored three times in the first inning, broke the game open with nine runs in the second, and added four in the third and six in the fourth. Manawa’s only run came in the top of the fifth inning.
Milo Salvesen was 2-for-4 with four RBIs, and Zandyr Barke hit 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Braxton Olson hit 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Carson Meronk hit 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Eddie Nowinsky hit 2-for-3 with there RBIs.
Denmark 3, Oconto Falls 0
Teagan Tate and Carter Heroux each had a single, but Oconto Falls was shut out 3-0 at Denmark.
Landon Timm took the loss on the mound. He pitched four innings, gave up two hits, walked three and struck out five.
