The Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce will once again recognize exceptional businesses and individuals who have contributed to the community’s overall quality of life in a very positive way.
Nominations from the community are welcome for the Business of the Year and Distinguished Citizen of the Year. The award recipients will be announced at the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce 100th year annual awards banquet Feb. 26, 2026, at Menominee Casino Resort & Convention Center.
All businesses in Shawano and Menominee counties that have been operating for two or more years are eligible to be nominated for the 2025 Business of the Year awards. Criteria considered by the award selection committee include community involvement, company growth, job creation and retention, facility improvement and expansion, and commitment to employees.
All citizens living in Shawano or Menominee counties are eligible to be nominated for the 2025 Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award. Criteria include demonstrated leadership, community service, and economic and business development.
The deadline for the nomination forms is Dec. 1.
