Aspirus Cancer Care announces the addition of Dr. Hari Menon to its team of cancer treatment experts.
Menon, a radiation oncologist, has experience and special interests in research, clinical trials and radiation oncology paired with immunotherapy.
He earned his medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine — Phoenix and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at University of Arizona College of Medicine — Tucson.
Firsthand family experience with cancer led him to a career as a cancer specialist.
“I specifically got into radiation oncology because my mom was a cancer patient,” Menon said. “Her experience, working with her oncologists and seeing how much they cared for her — and how she was able to live a fulfilling life — really drove me to become a cancer specialist.”
Menon is now providing care to patients at Aspirus Cancer Care – Wausau and Aspirus Cancer Care – Antigo: Volm Cancer Center.
