Shawano-Menominee Court News

• Robert R. Umland, 33, Shawano, pleaded no contest April 21 to misdemeanor bail jumping. The charge was amended from a felony in a plea agreement. Judge Katherine Sloma levied fines and court costs of $705.

• Kurtis Lee Peters, 29, Keshena, pleaded no contest April 22 to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. Sloma levied fines and court costs and sentenced him to county jail time served.

• Shayne Matthew Huebner, 23, Menomonie, pleaded no contest April 21 to driving or operating a vehicle without consent and a misdemeanor charge of operating while revoked. Judge Suzanne O’Neill imposed and stayed a prison sentence and placed him on four years of probation with conditions.

• Lisa L. Vele, 57, Bowler, pleaded no contest April 20 to misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct. The battery charge was amended from a felony count in a plea agreement. Sloma imposed and stayed a jail sentence, then placed her on one year of probation with conditions.

• Corey Lee Cantrell, 32, Keshena, was charged April 20 with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a $250 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 8.

• Cecilianne E. Dodge, 20, Shawano, was charged April 20 with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $2,000 signature bond and scheduled a status conference for July 6.

• Jerritt M. Shawano, 34, Bowler, was charged April 20 with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (second offense), operating while revoked and possession of cocaine. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 7.

• Ruby A. Boyd, 40, Shawano, was charged April 20 with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC, resisting or obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct. Sloma set a $1,500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 30.

• Shawnee E. Gauthier, 50, Keshena, was charged April 20 with seven counts of felony bail jumping. Sloma set a $2,500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for May 13.

• Zachary A. Vaness, 36, Shawano, was charged April 20 with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense). Sloma set a $1,000 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for July 9.

• Michael P. Lesniak, 74, Bear Creek, was charged April 20 with theft by a contractor. Sloma scheduled an initial appearance for June 15.

• Earl V. Holsten, 29, Neopit, was charged April 20 with felony bail jumping and disorderly conduct as a domestic abuse repeater. Sloma scheduled an initial appearance for June 15.

• Shaun James White, 45, Clintonville, was charged April 21 with felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. Sloma set a $600 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for July 7.

• Jordan A. Stone, 33, Green Bay, was charged April 22 with felony retail theft. Sloma set a $1,000 signature bond. In a separate file, Stone was charged with possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor retail theft. Sloma set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing in both cases for May 8.

• Kemewanihsaeh J. Tomow, 32, Keshena, was charged April 22 with felony retail theft and two counts of felony bail jumping. Sloma set a $750 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 28.

• Kenneth T. Kasper, 31, Shawano, was charged April 23 with child abuse intentionally causing harm. Sloma set a $10,000 signature bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for June 12.
