Mavis M. Rindt

Mavis M. Rindt, 94, of Shawano, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022. Mavis was born in the Town of Belle Plaine on July 20, 1928, to the late George and Effie (Fink) Thimke. She was confirmed in 1943 in the United Methodist Church and has been a lifelong member. Mavis attended Ainsworth and Sunny Hill schools before graduating from Shawano High School with the Class of 1946. On Oct. 15, 1949, Mavis was united in marriage to Norman G.
Lisa Marie Peters
Lisa Marie Peters, 57, of Keshena, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in Shawano. She was born April 24, 1965, to Wayne and Glenda (Corn) Pecore in Shawano. When she first started working at the Menominee Tribal Clinic, she met the love of her life, Michael “Flea.” Lisa continued to work at the Menominee Tribal Clinic for over 30 years.
Marva Mae Wege
Marva Mae Wege, 84, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, in Shawano. Marva was born in Shawano on May 14, 1938, to the late Marvin and Mabel (Zeuske) Knope. In 1956, Marva graduated from Shawano High School. On July 1, 1978, she was united in marriage to Curtis Berglin who preceded her in death in 1990.
John A. Welch
John Anthony “Big John” Welch, of Antigo, formerly of Shawano, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. He was 66 years old. He was born July 3, 1956, in Antigo, a son of the late Floyd and Theresa (Koeppel) Welch. John was a graduate of Antigo High School. He lived in Shawano for many years. He loved bowling and was a sports enthusiast.
Mary Litzow
Mary (née Lindquist) Litzow died Nov. 15, 2022, at Cardinal View residence in Middleton after a long life filled with love of family and friends. Mary was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 8, 1943, to Alrich and Florence Lindquist.
Carol J. Buenning
Carol Joyce Buenning (Schmoll), 95, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Nov. 13, 2022. Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory, Clintonville.
Patricia E. Wendler
Patricia E. Wendler, 85, of Wittenberg, died on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Weston. Pat was born on March 22, 1937, in Wausau, the daughter of John and Erma (Schoenhofen) Suwyn. On July 2, 1955, Pat was united in marriage to Clarence Wendler in Elderon. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2016. Pat and Clarence farmed in the Town of Wittenberg for many years.
