Candice Marie Daniels, “Mno Gizhgok,” “Good day woman,” 46, of Crandon, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at the Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo. Candice was born June 27, 1976, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Robert and Rogerine (Tourtillott) Daniels Sr. Candice went to the University of Minnesota for 2½ years studying Native American, then came back to Crandon and studied as an language apprentice under Jim Thunder and Billy Daniels Jr.
Patricia A. Gallagher
Patricia A. Gallagher, 84, Suring, died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 18, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. She was born April 18, 1938, in Oconto Falls to Albert and Frances (Wetzel) Gallagher. Pat grew up in Oconto Falls where she attended public schools and graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the Class of 1956. Following graduation, she attended beauty school in Green Bay. Glen Charles McIntosh
Glen Charles McIntosh, 73, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, in De Pere. He was born Jan. 31, 1949, to the late Alexander C. and Stella M. (Wilson) McIntosh in Washington. On July 16, 1993, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Trilby Beauprey, who preceded him in death on April 30, 2021. Glen worked at Associated Steel on and off for over 20 plus years. He was passionate about his career, and retirement was never an option.
Steven M. Ashenbrenner
Steven M. Ashenbrenner passed away on Jan. 10, 2023, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Steve was born in Shawano on Aug. 3, 1955. He attended Shawano High School and played baseball, first base and outfield. Baseball became a fascination for Steve, and he had a remarkable memory of baseball players and statistics. He was an avid Brewers fan.

Robert “Bob” S. Schroeder passed away on Jan. 16, 2023. Bob was born on Jan. 14, 1944, to the late Kathryn “Kitty” (Batton) Schroeder and Col. Robert “Bob” W. Schroeder. Spending his early years on the DuPont Estate in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, where Bob’s grandfather worked, he and his family then followed Bob Sr.’s career, travelling to several U.S.

Karen Rybka, 82, Abrams, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Oconto Falls. Karen was born January 8, 1941 in Oconto to the late Wilbur and Marie (Hassenfeldt) Wiedenhaft. She married James Salnick on August 24, 1957. Karen and Jim enjoyed camping.
