William “Bill” Kokko Jr., 84, of Oconto Falls, died Thursday afternoon, June 15, 2023 at Meadowbrook Health Care Center. Proud of his heritage, he was born 100% Finnish to William and Wilma (Wertanen) Kokko Sr. on May 9, 1939, in Negaunee, Michigan.

Ruth Elizabeth (Dillenburg) Zehren, 87, of Green Bay, formerly of Shawano, was born at home on her family farm in the Town of Belle Plaine to her parents, Joseph and Alice (Hohn) Dillenburg. She entered into eternal life at home at Autumn’s Promise Assisted Living in Green Bay on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Ruth spent a happy childhood on her family’s farm surrounded by her immediate and extended family.

Rodger R. Doemel, 86, passed to God on June 13, 2023. Rodger was born on Sept. 12, 1936, to Carl and Lydia (Fifield) Doemel in Gillett. He worked for Green Bay Packaging as a supervisor for 45 years and retired in 1998. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years. Rodger was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cecil, where he served as a trustee. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride his UTV.

Susan H. Lonzo, 88, of Suring, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Sue was born on Nov. 21, 1934, to the late David and Romaine (Foral) Urban. She was raised in Mountain on Green Lake. On Sept. 15, 1953, Sue married Gerald Lonzo Sr. The couple lived in Milwaukee while Jerry attended barber school. They then moved the family to Mountain before settling in Suring and buying the local barber shop.
