Dianne J. Pingel
Dianne J. Pingel, 82, of Wittenberg, formerly of Tigerton, passed away early Sunday morning, March 2, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Dianne Jean Pingel was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Tigerton, daughter to the late Alfred and Mildred (Roth) Menge. She was united in marriage to Robert Roy John Pingel in Kenosha on May 29, 1965. Dianne’s main role was enjoying being a mother and raising her children.
Mary Klatt
Mary Ellen Klatt, 80, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at The Residence at Oshkosh, with her daughters by her side. For almost 20 years, Mary bravely battled Parkinson’s disease with tenacity, humor, strength and courage, even in her final days. Mary was born on Mother’s Day on May 14, 1944, in Sheboygan. She was the middle child of the late Joseph and Hildegarde (Fetterer) Kraus.
Bernice M. Bossell
Bernice M. Bossell, 96, of Wittenberg, died on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at Homme Home of Wittenberg. Bernice was born on July 23, 1928, in New London, the daughter of John and Margaret (Stranen) Borchardt. On Aug. 30, 1947, Bernice was united in marriage to Clarendon Bossell in Wittenberg. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2002. Bernice enjoyed reading, knitting and being outdoors, going for walks.
Robert H. Koehler
Robert H. Koehler, 90, formerly of Andover, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at Mercer Manor, Aledo, Illinois. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Moline, Illinois, with visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to services at the church. Interment with military honors will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
Donna M. Wetzel
Donna M. Wetzel, 87, of Baraboo, passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025. Donna was born in Gresham on Dec. 5, 1937, daughter of the late Stuart and Hatie (Fischer) Schabow. Donna was a graduate of Gresham High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. On May 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to David Wetzel in Washington, D.C. She and Dave returned to Gresham for a time before settling in Lancaster where they raised their family.
Rose Marie V. Childs
Rose Marie V. Childs, 96, passed away at Country View Care Center on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025. Rose Marie was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 25, 1928, to Bruno and Agnes (nee: Kaniewski) Koszewski. She was a longtime employee of General Motors. Rose Marie married Robert J. Childs Sr.
