Shawano Area Matthew 25, Inc. is once again bringing color and community spirit to Shawano with its annual spring flower sale fundraiser, open now through April 30. Orders must be received by 3 p.m. April 30 to be included in this year’s sale.
Flowers will be available for pickup May 21, from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the parking lot on East Elizabeth Street in Shawano, across from the Little League diamonds.
Participants can order a variety of high-quality plants, including hanging baskets and potted flowers, either online, by calling SAM25, or by submitting a printed order form with payment. Paper forms are available on the SAM25 website or at the SAM25 shelter, and payments can be mailed or dropped off in person during business hours.
SAM25 is also seeking volunteers to help with flower distribution and delivery May 21. Community members who are interested in volunteering can sign up on the SAM25 website or call the organization for more information.
Proceeds from the flower sale support all SAM25 programs, which provide critical services to individuals and families in Shawano County experiencing housing instability and financial hardship. These programs include SAM’s House Emergency Shelter, the resource center, community health services and more — each working to help community members move toward stability and self-sufficiency.
This fundraiser is a great way for community members to give back while enjoying beautiful flowers at home and to join together in support of services that make a difference in the community.
