A fourth-generation family farm will play host to the 2026 Breakfast on the Farm in Oconto County.
Riewe Farms is a family-owned and operated dairy farm north of Oconto.
The farm was originally purchased by Adolph and Ida Riewe in 1915. In 1946, Clair and Delores Riewe assumed operations, followed by Richard and Diane Riewe in 1982.
In 2024, the farm transitioned to the next generation, with brothers Charlie and Kenny Riewe taking over day-to-day operations. Today, the core team includes the brothers along with one full-time employee and three part-time employees.
Over the years, the farm has grown to encompass nearly 300 acres and currently milks 140 cows twice daily in a double-8 parallel parlor, reflecting a commitment to tradition and modern dairy practices.
At the heart of Riewe Farms is a family deeply connected to the community. Charlie Riewe and his wife, Keriann, are raising their sons, Bennett and Greyson, with an appreciation for agriculture, service and the importance of giving back to the community.
Kenny Riewe and his wife, Stevie, are instilling those same values in their children, Wyatt and Riley, teaching them the meaning of responsibility, teamwork, and caring for the land and neighbors around them. Together, these families represent the future of Riewe Farms, blending deep agricultural roots with a shared dedication to family, faith, and the local community.
Breakfast on the Farm will be held rain or shine from 7 a.m. to noon June 14. Activities will run until 1 p.m.
Riewe Farms is located at 6947 Old 15 Road, Oconto. Follow the signs for event parking at 7040 Rangeline Road.
The menu includes scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, pancakes, sausages, yogurt, cheese, milk, ice cream, coffee and water.
Advance tickets are $9 and will be available May 1 at Lena Faststop; Kelly Lake Kwik Stop; Peshtigo National Bank branches in Oconto Falls, Gillett, and Coleman; and NEW Credit Union branches in Oconto Falls, Oconto, Peshtigo and Suring.
Tickets at the door are $10.
Breakfast on the Farm is organized by the Oconto County Friends of Agriculture.
