M&O Mini-Meet #6

Lena’s Cooper Demmith earned medalist honors and led his team to victory at Thornberry Creek at Oneida in Hobart.

Lena won with a 376, one stroke ahead of Coleman and five strokes better than third-place Gillett.

Demmith scored 86, followed by teammates Tanner Behnke’s 88, Lucas Mongiat’s 100 and Zander Thomson’s 102.

For Gillett, it was Brody Holla at 87, Bradyn Kiedrowski at 94, and Chase Rosenlund and Parker Jenerou, each at 100.

CWC Leg #5

Menominee Nation/Gresham’s Allex Mahl finished just one stroke away from the top spot at Clintonville’s Riverside Golf Course.

Mahl and his teammates placed third overall with a 351, followed by Marion in fourth at 360, Wittenberg-Birnamwood in seventh at 391 and Bonduel in 11th at 421.

Scoring for Menominee Nation/Gresham were Mahl at 80, Gabe Boivin at 88, Anikohsaeh Corn at 91 and Elliott Penass at 92.

Marion’s scores included Collin Grogan at 83, Elijah Scheef at 91, Jarren Faehling at 92 and Javen Prickette at 94.

For Wittenberg-Birnamwood, it was Roman Johnson and Nicholas Flak, each at 93, George Seegmiller at 95 and Grant Hanson at 110.

“For the second meet in a row, we didn’t play up to our expectations,” Wittenberg-Birnamwood coach Chris Bartletti said. “Unfortunately, that is sometimes the nature of golf. With that said, Nick Flak posted his best conference round of the season and seems to be on the cusp of posting really good scores. Roman and George both slid in conference standings but were still able to secure honorable mention all-conference honors.”

For the Bonduel golfers, Cameron Schroeder scored 93; Cory Wussow and Gavin Hundt were each at 105, and Collin Zuleger scored 118.

Oneida Classic

Pulaski’s Brady Hayward scored just three strokes off the lead, as the Red Raiders placed fifth among 11 teams at Oneida Golf & Country Club in Green Bay.

The Red Raiders’ score included Hayward’s 74, Casey Madlem’s 81, Bradin Schultz’s 82 and Benny Shaw’s 88.
